Beautiful Italian Chocolate!

When I was in Melbourne doing my Chocolatiers course I bought the most amazing

chocolate. I went to Cafe Vue in ST Kilda road and bought some Amedei chocolate. It costs around  $18- $20 per 100gms so it is quite pricey but worth the experience!!

The  "Crus" come from individual production areas and, like grapes, are the product of a particular climate and sunshine in a particular region and have their own individual characteristics and distinctive flavours.  My favourite is the CRU 70% Jamaica, although they are all different and unique!  Chocolate really is about personal taste. I just love exploring the diverse nature of the not so humble cocoa bean!!
