Chocolate almond truffle and fruit!

This is a gorgeous cake, quite large but at the same time very elegant with the fresh flowers and

textured icing. It had a contemporary twist with the edible silver pearls evenly trailing down one side. It was quite a classic, elegant look with the detailing of pearls just adding a feature. The cake was to be served as the dessert, so Lisa and David chose the chocolate almond truffle cake. Lisa also wanted a traditional fruit cake as the top tier so  they could keep it.

 I love fruit cake, all of the fruit was soaked in French brandy..Yum!
