Totally GOTH!!!!

Totally GOTH!!! I was so pleased to arrive at Riverlife to set the cake up. Riverlife is a fabulous setting, overlooking the Brisbane river and with Kangaroo point Cliffs just there as well. It took me about

1 hour to set up the cake, actually some of the guests were arriving and were amazed and very interested in seing me assemble the last few Goth crosses on the chocolate shards cascading from the top of the cake. The whole party was or should I say is a surprise 40th birthday that Matt has organised for his wife Janie. They were due to arrive at 6.30 with all the party guests already there.

I am quite thrilled with the way the cake turned out. I had a clear vision of what I thought the colours should be,it was just a matter of tying in some of Matts ideas and then bringing it all together. Just a matter of manually constructing my artistic vision. Sometimes I surprise myself!!  Cant wait to here how Janie liked it!! stay tuned for more pics!!! 

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for the most amazing cake I have ever seen. This piece of art was not only the most amazing thing to look at but tasted absolutely mine blowing. The work that went into each and every individual cross was unbelievable. Julie, you are a true artist in your field and I thank you once again for making my 40th something to remember for the rest of my life.
