Michelle and Jaron wanted everything elegant, grand and one-of-a-kind. The cake was truly one of a kind and very grand.

Michelle was very clear about wanting chocolate boxes. The white chocolate shards encased my chocolate almond truffle cake with white chocolate ganache and chocolate curls. However they could not decide on a design for the boxes. Michelle loved my French heart design whereas Jaron preferred nice clean lines. I came up with the solution - a row of French hearts and a row of chocolate boxes with a line of edible silver pearls running along the top edge of the chocolate box, which l worked on with tweezers and magnifying glasses. Extremely time consuming!

I added a silver pearl as a detail on the French hearts to carry the pearl theme through and the large chocolate box crowning the top was also detailed using edible silver pearls.
Every guest indulged in a chocolate box for dessert. One of the most stunning cakes l have ever done - a fabulous challenge.

Michelle looked elegant with a dress designed for her by Alex Perry - a one off!
I loved her earrings - pink sapphires and diamonds, also a unique creation by Saavi Jewels, and a gift from her father.

Gianni's Portside was the perfect setting. Clean lines with the tables adorned with white phalaenopsis orchids, supplied by Sebastian from Brisbane Market Flowers, at Rocklea, who Michelle used to work for part-time while attending Uni with stationery made by Cara Marie from Invitation Station to compliment the whole theme. "Everything Elegant."
